Sea Captain’s House, Falmouth (Sleeps 6)

This is a truly beautiful listed Georgian cottage nestled away in a quiet street in Falmouth. Once the residence of an old sea Captain, the house is now set up with Christmas decorations needing a cosy break. Inside, the interiors are a perfect mix of traditional features mixed in with cosy modern luxuries.

Original sash windows can be found in almost every room, as well as restored open fireplaces and exposed wooden floorboards. The fresh white walls create a calming ambience and flow throughout the whole house both upstairs and down. In the dining room, there’s a large oval table that’ll comfortably sit 6 for big breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen caters for all your needs; there’s a SMEG fridge, range cooker, coffee machine and large pantry cupboard.

Upstairs, there are 2 generously sized bedrooms and a bunk room. The rooms share two bath/shower rooms, one with a stunning cast iron bath tub. With ample natural light, a comfortable king-size bed and views over the harbour, the master bedroom is a wonderful place to sit back and relax. The second bedroom has charming views over the garden and tiled rooftops below. It can be made up with either a king-size or twin beds.

Whilst the third bedroom has bunk beds that kids will love to sleep in.

To top it all off, there’s a large private, sheltered. garden where you can stretch out on loungers or enjoy sunny sundowners.
