Both are popular and suit all ages, try your hand at rock pooling or give surfing a shot. St Agnes itself has a butcher, two bakers, two small supermarkets, two greengrocers, and a fish “ deli “ and there is a fishmonger on the way to Chapel Porth – so it is easy to “shop local”.

Surf lessons and equipment hire are available at Trevaunance Cove and coasteering and guided kayaking are further options. Otherwise, play a game of tennis at St Agnes Tennis Club where you can “pay to play.”

For the less adventurous, St Agnes is well known as a centre for arts and crafts and there are a wealth of workshops and galleries to explore. To take in the refreshing sea air, enjoy one of the many superb walks, a recommended one is around St Agnes Beacon which is owned by the National Trust and offers some stunning views.
