Rock End Haven, Cawsand (Sleeps 6)

Located at Penlee Point where you can swim from the sandy beach or fish from the rocks. Above the Point, the Penlee Battery Nature Reserve is famous for its butterflies and orchids. Nearby Cawsand is nestled on Cornwall’s South Coast next to the twinned village of Kingsand, both boasting stunning beaches and a selection of pubs and restaurants.

A trip across on the Cremyll Ferry is a must to discover the foodie’s paradise that is the Royal William Yard or explore the Barbican area of Plymouth by catching the ferry from Cawsand beach. Nearby is the historic Mount Edgcumbe with its 865-acre estate, cafe and gardens. Attractions in the area include the National Marine Aquarium, The Eden Project, Adrenalin Quarry, The Monkey Sanctuary, the Ski centre and the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro.

Once you have taken in the jaw-dropping view, enter into the stylish lounge, relax on the sofa or pick a comfy armchair and watch the TV or film using the DVD player.

The bedrooms are all light and tastefully styled with the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and the bunk bedrooms both having en-suite shower rooms, with showers and WC’s. The remaining king-size bedroom also has hanging space and vanity area.

There is a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Head downstairs to the lower ground floor and you will find the well-equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, perfect for creating a feast for all the family or enjoy a lazy breakfast at the dining table. Open the door onto the patio and listen to the peaceful surroundings.

Step outside from the kitchen diner onto the enclosed and private terrace with seating to dine alfresco with BBQ, whilst admiring the spectacular views and unwind after exploring this beautiful coastline or just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. Beyond is a communal lawn and roof terrace so enjoy the seaside air and listen to rolling waves. There is also off-parking for four cars and the house is accessed by 82 steps down from the car park.
