To the front, there is a small decked area which is ideal for alfresco breakfasts. This leads into the lounge, which offers a log burner, BT TV (with sports), books and games. To the rear of the cottage, there is a new kitchen/dining area, which is well equipped for home cooking.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, which share a traditional ‘Jack’n’Jill’ bathroom. There is a spacious and light double bedroom with windows that allow you to watch the river as you lie in bed. The second bedroom is a cosy single, which also serves as access to the rear garden.
There are steep stairs leading to the rear garden with two separate seating areas. Both of them benefit from the amazing river views towards the Roseland. The upper level is great for kicking back and lying down on those hot summer days when a little shade is welcome. The lower, patio area is more open and offers comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing in the tranquil surroundings of Malpas.
