Courtyard Cottage is our spacious converted barn that sleeps 6 & is in a secluded, quiet valley with stunning views, surrounded by 40 acres of private grounds, 0.5 of a mile down a lovely private drive. In a tranquil & very secure setting very close to Trewalder & St Teath and 10 min walk to pubs & restaurants. With very easy access to footpaths & famous beaches & restaurants, Trebarwith beach 10 mins, Port Isaac 15 mins, Polzeath & Daymer Bay 20 mins by car.
The space
During these unfortunate uncertain times if you book and need to cancel due to Coronavirus related incidents whatever it is, we will ensure you receive a full refund including any AirBnB fees. We are personally offering this guarantee which is different to AirBnB, as we want all of our new and returning guests to have a safe and peaceful time away to look forward to. We have always been praised for our immaculately presented accommodation and will be taking even further steps to ensure the guests accommodation is thoroughly antibacterial clean and no one will need to meet you on arrival, everything will be prepared many hours before your arrival.
At Helland Barton Hideaways we have three large holiday properties all with their own private and secure space. All properties are totally detached, have separate parking right next to your holiday home. We have 40 acres of very private fields and woodland and will happily allocate individual field areas for families to enjoy the outside, be able to social distance and safely play ball games etc. There is no need to come into contact with anyone else when you stay here. We hope everyone keeps safe and well.
Courtyard Cottage is the ideal private and tranquil getaway location for couples, friends or families and your pet dog. With a beautifully equipped new kitchen to include, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, electric hob and range cooker, gas BBQ (upon request). Lounge seating with plenty of space for 6 and stairs leading to 3 generously sized bedrooms. You have a private terrace right outside your front door for BBQ’s and to safely allow a dog out securely.
We are happy to accept one medium sized dog and please provide details when booking, subject to confirming house rules. If you would like to bring more than one dog please contact us before requesting to book to provide details so we can confirm if we are happy to accept.
We welcome short (Minimum 4 nights) and long stay bookings throughout the whole year, subject to availability. Please contact us if you wish to book more than 2 weeks at a time so we can further personalise everything for you. The master bedroom has a lovely new king size bed, bedroom 2 and 3 have new super comfy zip link beds that are normally setup as a twins but can also be setup as a super king doubles (upon request)
Courtyard Cottage has a 55 inch LED digital TV with free premium Netflix and WiFi Broadband.
There is a huge amount of private outdoor space for children to play including fields and a 12 acre private woods for our guests to freely explore.
We have a 3 Phase Type 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charge point for our guests to use with our compliments. Please do let us know when booking if you plan to come with an EV.
During colder times plenty of logs will be provided on arrival for the lovely wood burner and all guests will receive a welcome hamper with some local surprises.
A dog staying with you should remain downstairs and off all furniture at all times this is a strict rule to respect hygiene and cleanliness for others. No dogs are allowed upstairs or on sofas at any time. Please confirm your acceptance to these rules when booking with a dog.
For larger parties or if you are travelling with other friends Goose Cottage, Courtyard Cottage and The Old Bakehouse can be rented together to sleep 16 in total.

Courtyard cottage has a large garden and sits in c40 acres with the old farm including 12 acres of private woodland that you are welcome to enjoy as well. We offer privacy with great access to the main beaches and tourist attractions, please take a look at our reviews to see.
Other things to note
The cottage is ideal for a week or more getaway, however we are happy to accept 4 night short stay minimum subject to availability. The daily charge is discounted on airbnb for bookings of a week or more.
