Situated close to the south-west Cornwall coast, with views down a rolling valley towards the sea, Scovarn House is a magnificent redevelopment of an old barn in a brilliant location, just a mile from the spectacular National Trust beach at PoldhuCove as well as the charming village of Mullion, the quite stunning Kynance Cove and the rest of the magnificent Lizard Peninsula to explore. In an incredible location, this magnificent conversion of a former barn offers guests a comfortable and very stylish retreat. Scovarn House is a beautifully presented stone barn, retaining many of its original features which, due to the thoughtful design by the Owner and master craftsmen, blend seamlessly with contemporary additions. Set out in reverse style, the living space is at first floor to take advantage of the valley views. There are stunning full height windows at first floor level opening onto an amazing wraparound balcony enjoying incredible views towards Poldhu Cove. The open plan living-room and kitchen with beamed ceilings has a cosy wood burning stove and access to the garden via a small balcony and external stairs. The ground floor bedrooms have french windows opening onto the private garden and hot tub. There are four bedrooms in total, all of which are incredibly spacious. The quality finish continues in the open plan solid oak fitted kitchen which will have granite work surfaces and Neff appliances throughout.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: The main entrance opens into a ground floor lobby to with access to the bedrooms. There is a bedroom with zip and link beds (either a 6′ double or two 3′ singles) – please note that the bunk beds shown in the photographs have now been removed from the property. There are also french windows that open directly onto the garden with the hot tub. There is a master bedroom with a superking 6’3″ double bed and ensuite shower room, french windows onto the garden and magnificent views. The third bedroom on the ground floor has a 5′ double bed and also french windows onto the garden. There is a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. First Floor: A beautiful open plan living space with stunning views across the valley, rolling countryside and towards Poldu Cove and the sea to the west. Stunning floor to ceiling windows and french windows onto a balcony mean you can enjoy these views at all times of year. From the balcony there are external stairs down to the garden and hot tub. The sitting area has comfortable sofas around the cosy wood-burning stove There is the gorgeous solid oak fitted kitchen at one end with granite work surfaces and Neff appliances. A spectacular 10′ Indian Rosewood dining table seats 10 easily. To one side of the living space is a further bedroom, this one a double with a 5′ bed and an ensuite shower room. There is also a separate WC.

Exterior: The large wrap around balcony has a table and 6 chairs and offers spectacular al fresco dining in warm weather. There is a grassed garden, enclosed via stock fences and wall so you might have to watch an escapee dog. There is plenty of space to relax, enjoy the hot tub and sit outside in fine weather. There is a BBQ but you will have to provide your own charcoal.
