Rosemundy Villa is a luxury holiday cottage sleeping 8 in the very popular village of St Agnes, on the north coast of Cornwall. The Grade II listed Georgian house is set in the thriving village of St Agnes surrounded by wonderful countryside. Located on the North Cornwall coast, St Agnes is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has World Heritage Status.

Four stylish bedrooms spread over two floors, two have king-size beds and two have twin beds. You’ll also find a shower room and a family bathroom with a lovely roll-top bath tub. The welcoming sitting room has space for the whole family – there are board games for quiet nights in and a Smart TV for family film evenings.

Flip open the French doors and catch the sun in the beautifully landscaped garden with long lawn and mature shrubs. On winter nights you can warm up in front of the open fire. The well equipped kitchen has a two oven Aga and, on arrival, you’ll find a super hamper including local produce. Right off the kitchen, the garden room’s the place to relax and come together over family meals. Or spill out onto the terrace, perfect for lazy al fresco breakfasts.

This stunning luxury holiday home is the ideal haven from which to explore the many beautiful coves and beaches which Cornwall is renowned for. There’s the bucket-and-spade joys of four beaches on the doorstep or within easy reach where you can rummage in rock pools and splash in the surf. Head to Trevaunance Cove, a 10-15 minute walk away for sandcastles and surfing.
Make the most of your coastal location and enjoy happy times in the waves with great teachers at Breakers Surf School. Or take to the open water on a kayak or paddle board – it’s a great way to explore the Cornish coast. The cove also has a lively pub, excellent Bistro and beach cafe. Chapel Porth Beach (owned by the National Trust and a World Heritage Site) is 1.6 miles.
Two other famous North Coast Beaches, Perranporth and Porthtowan are within a ten minute drive. A 5-8 minute potter takes you to picturesque St Agnes village which offers two small supermarkets, two greengrocers, two bakers, a butcher, (no candlestick maker!) a choice of pubs, delicious restaurants, a bistro, coffee bars, fish and chip shop and a highly regarded pizza takeaway.
Friendly St Agnes tennis club offers the options of pay and play or weekly membership. St Agnes also has a rich mining heritage and is also in the heart of Poldark Country, the landscapes made famous by the novels and TV series. Today the village is well known for its thriving arts and crafts and there are a number of interesting small galleries and shops well worth a visit.
If you’re heading out and about, there’s a dizzying selection of paths and headlands to explore on the spectacular South West Coast Path. The sand, surf scene and Blue Reef Aquarium at Newquay, the Cathedral city of Truro with its shopping centre and cobbled streets, and the inspirational gardens of Trellisick and Trerice Manor House are within half an hour’s drive. Or marvel at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, the tall ships at Charlestown, St Ives Tate and the world famous Eden Project, just some of the attractions within easy reach.
