There’s loads and loads of activities for adults and kids alike, you can go eggsploring on an egg hunt or even take on a giant inflatable challenge and find your way through the spring maze. Quest for the Golden Egg, Pirate’s Quest

Newquay, Saturday 24th March- Sunday 15th April 2020

Now for your little scallywags this one is a good shout all round, you will travel back 300 years with Captain Blackbeard and his crew and embark on an adventure set in The golden age of piracy. Yopu can see a live pirate show where you will be rescued by pirates and who will escort you through secret passageways, and then guide you through several pirate sets and scenes. You can explore mystical caves and stomp through the murky streets of eighteenth century Cornwall. 

Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea

Now as my boys are big Peter Rabbit fans this one looks great, this Easter at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm they have a brand-new Peter Rabbit-themed Cornish afternoon tea set in its new Mowhay Tea Rooms. You can enjoy tasty treats with the opportunity to meet real rabbits as part of their farm experience. Its all inspired by the new Peter Rabbit films, and life on the working farm with animals. Healeys have created fun twist on the classic English treat to savour amongst the apple orchards and really get into the new spring season.

Rogue Theatre’s Wild Spring Hare Performances

Tehidy Woods, Thursday 30th March – Monday 9th April 2020

One of the most unique ways to enjoy the coming of the new spring season in Cornwall is to catch a performance of the fantastic Rogue Theatre for their first show of the year names the Wild Spring Hare in Tehidy Woods. The theatre set within Cornish woodlands is an Easter trail like no other,  you can follow the stories and discover a new world of spring. The woodland king will be waiting in the heart of the woods with a chocolate treat for everyone. Not to be missed for a magical Easter treat.

Explosive Easter at Flambards

Flambards always put on good things to do for kids and this easter is no exception, visitors can enjoy experiments, explosions and a chocolate egg trail as part of an action-packed Easter at Flambards Theme Park. The Helston attraction is open throughout the holidays and will be running an all-new ‘Explosive Easter’ event with a team of madcap scientists staging a series of explosive fun experiments in their indoor laboratory, this one will certainly keep the kids entertained.

The Scarecrow’s Wedding

The Lost Gardens of Heligan,  Friday 30th March – Sunday 15th April 2020

I love that Heligan are are theming their Easter around this story ( its a big favourite with my youngest son) This year you can join in the fun at Heligan during the Easter holidays for a fun trail, games and workshops; all themed around the classic book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Kids can explore the garden and farm and help Harry and Betty collect all the items which will make their dream wedding. You’ll need to find; a white feather to make a dress, a shell to make a necklace, a pink flower, a ring and a bell; which are dotted within our garden and farm. Collect one of each item and bring them to Scarecrow HQ where you can exchange them for a small chocolate prize! All activities included with garden entry and will sure be a great day out for all the family.

Blast from the Past

Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, Friday 30th March – Sun 15th April 2020

A local favourite place of ours this year is giving easter visiotrs the chance to travel back in time and meet the Tudors at Pendennis. Hear muskets roar, take part in kids’ drills, and discover how the castle garrison defended the coast from foreign invaders. Great for your little history fans and sure to be a spectacle at this fantastic venue in Falmouth.

The Man Engine, Resurrection Tour

The Man Engine is the largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain, built to celebrate the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site’s tenth anniversary. After a sellout tour in 2016 – here’s your chance to see him on the streets of Cornwall again. On Sat 31st March, The Man Engine will begin his journey at Geevor Tin Mine, appear at Heartlands on Sat 1st April and Royal Cornwall Showground on Sunday 2nd April, before heading off to dates in Devon.

Hear the amazing tales of the pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read, and learn of the daring and wicked exploits of other infamous pirates such as Blackbeard, Black Bart and Sam Bellamy.
